Help Cody beat brain cancer!
Cody Bruns is a free spirited 25 year old whose life changed suddenly in late April 2021. After a spell of about 4 days of not remembering anything he went to the dr only to find out that he was having multiple seizures throughout those black out days. A cat scan revealed a tumor on his right frontal lobe that was causing pressure on his brain. Very quickly Cody’s health was declining and was brought to Albany Medical Center. A MRI revealed a much larger mass and surgery was scheduled right away. The dr was able to remove 70-80% of the Tumor while Cody was awake (mind over matter) he was sent home the next day. Can we say miracle since according to the MRI Cody should not of been walking or talking. We thought we were in the clear and things were looking up but life is always unpredictable and the biopsy came back malignant. Yes we are now dealing with CANCER. Cody will do 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation and then we will see what the next step is. Cody is a young guy who wants to live life to the fullest.
